🚨Chocolate Blooming Expected!!!🚨

Chocolate toppings may discolor during the summer months when items are shipped!

This is due to heat and temperature fluctuations during transit. It looks a bit unusual, but I assure you, it's just CHOCOLATE BLOOM!

What is Chocolate Bloom?

Chocolate bloom refers to lighter-colored streaks or spots that sometimes appear on the surface of chocolate. This can occur in two ways:

1. Fat Bloom: When the cocoa butter in the chocolate migrates to the surface and recrystallizes.

2. Sugar Bloom: When moisture comes into contact with the chocolate, causing the sugar to dissolve and then recrystallize on the surface.

These blooms happen due to temperature fluctuations, or when the chocolate melts and then resolidifies. Given our extremely warm summers, this is expected.

Rest Assured: Chocolate blooming may affect the chocolate's appearance, but it does NOT compromise the taste or freshness. It is completely safe to eat.

All of our products are shelf-stable and do not require immediate refrigeration, similar to Little Debbie snack cakes! Rest assured, it's perfectly fine!

My desserts have a minimum shelf-life of 11 days from shipping date without requiring immediate refrigeration. They are designed using shelf-stable ingredients and will remain fresh during transit. Please allow up to 10 days from shipping date for delivery. Keep refrigerated for up to 30 days or freeze for up to 6 months. 

Some desserts are topped with milk chocolate or white chocolate and may experience moderate to severe cracking or melting during transit. This is common  and completely out of my control and does NOT compromise the freshness of the product.

To keep consumer costs down, cakes are shipped without the use of dry ice via FedEx Express! Any damages that may occur while in transit, due to mishandling or roughhousing should be addressed to FedEx, as I CAN NOT control how your cake is handled once it leaves my possession. NO PO BOXES OR PARCEL LOCKERS!!! Please do NOT have your cake delivered to a PO BOX or parcel locker, as it will likely be placed on it’s side for an extended period of time resulting in your cake settling to one side of the tin!

I designed these cakes to be able to handle being briefly flipped or tumbled while in transit. However they are NOT able to withstand being placed upside down or on its side for extended periods of time, especially in warmer temperatures.. This will result in the cake shifting inside the tin or adhering to the protective parchment inside the lid of the tin.

Shipping dates are estimated and are not definite. Production time is 7-10 business days but may be shorter or longer (dependent upon product demand). This DOES NOT include shipping time! Items are shipped FedEx Express and depending on location, usually arrive in 1 - 3 business days once shipped.(THIS IS NOT GUARANTEED). PLEASE CONTACT FedEx at 1 (800) 463-3339 IF YOU HAVE DELIVERY QUESTIONS! The COVID-19 pandemic has created record-breaking shipping  volumes. As more people shop online to avoid crowds in stores, those numbers have grown even more. This has created shipping volumes that are taxing logistics networks nationwide, which may cause delays. PLEASE CONTACT FedEx  IF YOUR PACKAGE HAS NOT ARRIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS SHIPPED...

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Please make sure that you have provided the correct zip code, apartment #, street #, or type of street (Blvd., Rd., Ave., etc.) KELLY KÁXE is a High Volume Production Operation. Preforming multiple MANUAL address corrections is EXTREMELY time consuming and may incur a surcharge. Be aware that we instruct the shipping carrier that no signature is required. Otherwise, it could take the cake beyond its shelf life to be delivered. Carrier may leave cakes at the door if there is no one home. We are not responsible if your cake is attacked by ants, bears, raccoons, mongooses, or other wild animals! LOL! Please track your package once tracking has been provided, so that you can make the proper arrangements to bring it safely inside once it has been delivered! However carrier may choose, at its sole discretion, not to leave a package at the door if they feel it would be unsafe for any reason. Carrier instead will leave a tag indicating how to arrange pickup or another delivery. 

Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for undeliverable cakes or delays in the receipt of cakes due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

All prices are subject to change WITHOUT prior notice, due to inflation, currency fluctuation, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances. In the case of human or computer error, Kelly Kaxe reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service.

ALLERGEN WARNING: Please be advised that all of my baked goods may contain or come into contact with almond extract, peanuts, tree nuts, strawberries, dairy, milk products, eggs, wheat, chocolate, gluten and or other allergens. Some cakes make contain random rainbow sprinkles! As they are all prepared in the same facility! If you find a green, purple, or blue sprinkle in your red velvet, don’t freak out!🤣 If you have any food allergies, please take the safe road and avoid my products all together! 

Please keep cake refrigerated and eat or discard within 7 days of receipt. Refrigeration is highly recommend. However, If you choose not to refrigerate your cake, please consume or discord within 2 days of receipt. Refrigerate all dessert cakes immediately, as they taste best chilled! 

Unopened or tightly closed tins will remain fresh in refrigeration for up to 1 month or in the freezer for up to 6 months!  All sales are final! No cancellations, No refunds! No exceptions! 

Customer service is very limited, as I work alone and bake, package, & ship an extremely high volume of products weekly. For Product concerns please TEXT 225-454-7494 and allow up to 24 hours for a response. 

I no longer take custom cake ordered or special orders. If it’s not on my site, then I probably don’t sell it! No reservations! I do not hold cakes/orders for requested dates.

Good evening. My name is Jennifer D. and I am a new customer. Two of my colleagues RAVED about your cakes and I immediately began following you on your social media platforms. Not since my teen years have I made a big deal about my birthday. I can't remember the last time I actually wanted a birthday cake... until I saw your Bride Cake. I HAD to have it!

The day you posted about placing orders, I was so excited, my hands shook while I was entering in my info. Lol! My boyfriend purchased my cake and I literally squealed when the order was confirmed. I didn't want anything for my birthday like I wanted your cake! My birthday is not until Saturday, but I will enjoy it on Friday. Thank you so very much.
