SHIPPING & HANDLING

We ship Mondays and Tuesdays only to ensure orders do not sit in carrier warehouses over the weekend.

Please allow up to 5 business days for order preparation.Additional time may be required during peak or holiday seasons.Shipping dates are estimated, not guaranteed.

SHIPPING METHOD

Orders ship via FedEx Express.Cakes are shipped without dry ice to keep shipping costs reasonable.Typical transit time is 1–3 business days after shipment (not guaranteed).

Once your package leaves our possession, delivery timing and handling are the responsibility of the carrier.

DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY — PLEASE READ

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate delivery address and ensuring the delivery location is accessible and secure.

We are not responsible for:

Packages marked Delivered by the carrierTheft after deliveryDelivery to unsecured or unauthorized locations (including roadside areas, mailbox bases, gates, or unattended areas)Delays caused by weather, holidays, or carrier-related issuesPackages undelivered due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

Once a package is marked Delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer — including theft, ants, bears, raccoons, mongooses, or other wildlife 😂.

Please track your package and bring it inside promptly.

No signature is required for delivery to avoid delays that could shorten shelf life. Carriers may leave packages at the door if no one is home.

🚫 DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS

NO PO BOXES OR PARCEL LOCKERS

Packages delivered to PO Boxes or parcel lockers are often stored on their side or upside down for extended periods. While our cakes can tolerate brief movement during transit, prolonged sideways or inverted storage—especially in warm temperatures—may cause shifting or adhesion inside the tin.

Orders shipped to these locations are not eligible for damage claims.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

All products are shelf-stable and do not require immediate refrigeration, similar to commercially produced snack cakes.

Minimum shelf life: 11 days from ship date (unrefrigerated)Products remain fresh during transit using shelf-stable ingredients and techniquesRefrigerate cakes and pies upon receipt for best qualityRefrigerated shelf life: up to 30 daysFreezer storage: 6–12 months if tightly sealed

If not refrigerated, products should be consumed or discarded within 2 days of delivery.

PRODUCT APPEARANCE & TRANSIT CHANGES

Product images are for illustration purposes only. All items are handcrafted; natural variations in appearance are normal.

During shipping:

Minor settling or cosmetic changes may occurChocolate toppings (milk or white) may crack or soften in warm weatherThese changes do not affect freshness or safety

Toppings may be substituted if an ingredient becomes unavailable.

DAMAGED, MISSING, OR MISDELIVERED PACKAGES

If a package is marked delivered but not received, or delivered to an incorrect or unsecured location, the shipper must initiate a claim with the carrier.

Customers cannot file claims directlyClaims are submitted to FedEx for investigationReview may take several business days or longer during peak seasons

Refunds or replacements, if approved, are processed only after the carrier completes its investigation.

TIME-SENSITIVE & HOLIDAY ORDERS

Some items are intended for specific dates or holidays. If a carrier fails to meet its delivery commitment, resolution will be handled through the carrier claims process.

Delivery by a specific date is not guaranteed, even for Express services.

CHARGEBACKS

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute before a carrier claim is resolved may delay or void resolution.

We strongly recommend allowing the carrier investigation to conclude before contacting your payment provider.

PRICING & ERRORS

Prices are subject to change without notice due to inflation, fuel costs, or market conditions.

In the event of a human or system error, Kelly Káxe reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service.

ALLERGEN WARNING

All products may contain or come into contact with:

Milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, chocolate, peanuts, tree nuts, almonds, almond extract, strawberries, and other allergens.

All items are produced in the same facility.

Some cakes may contain random rainbow sprinkles. If you find a green or blue sprinkle in your red velvet—don’t panic 🤣.

If you have food allergies, please avoid these products.
